  1. There is a strong sentiment that the Ripper may have been a creation of the tabloids of the era. No one single murderer, but a series of unconnected crimes lumped together to make a criminal that could not be caught.

  2. Most of my info on this unsolved case is from the movies rather than actual facts or any research. Therefore what I gathered indicates that the Ripper could have been an influential Doctor with a mental condition or one of Queen Victoria's sons :(.

    1. Well, Doctor, the Royal connection has been pretty well discounted, but a Doctor with a Mental Condition is an excellent candidate... I fear Sir. William Gull is not the Ripper, however, due to his stroke and age. At least it seems the Ripper was a man with medical pretensions, so your answer is certainly interesting!.
